Breaking Generational Cycles

Understanding Our Past. Changing Our Patterns. Building Healthier Relationships.

The way we were raised can influence how we communicate, respond to conflict, establish boundaries, and raise our own children.

Join us for an eight-week guided book study and personal growth experience focused on understanding those patterns, developing greater emotional awareness, and creating healthier relationships for the next generation.

This is an opportunity to slow down, reflect, learn, and become more intentional about the relationships we build and the example we set for our children.

What We’ll Explore Together

Throughout this eight-week experience, we’ll explore:

  • Understanding family dynamics: How childhood experiences can influence adult relationships and communication.
  • Recognizing emotional patterns: Identifying unhealthy patterns and understanding where they may come from.
  • Developing healthier boundaries: Learning how to establish and maintain boundaries in relationships.
  • Responding instead of reacting: Building awareness of emotional triggers and practicing more intentional responses.
  • Becoming more emotionally intentional parents: Understanding how our own experiences can influence our parenting.
  • Building healthier relationships with our children: Creating opportunities for stronger communication, connection, and understanding.
  • Recognizing when additional support may help: Understanding when working with a licensed mental health professional may be beneficial.

The Book We’ll Be Reading
